Presentation

Techtera is the Innovation Cluster for the French textile sector, comprising 269 members including companies, research laboratories, technical centers, universities, and schools. Techtera has efficiently managed 267 joint R&D projects, securing €651 million in funding since 2005. Techtera supports its members in many manners, including support for innovation and collaborative R&D projects, enhancement of innovation levers, and aid in marketing innovations at trade shows and international collective missions. The cluster’s Techtera actions focus on three main axes, included in its roadmap: circular economy, intelligent and high-performance materials, and digitization in manufacturing processes.

Role in the project

TECHTERA will perform a mapping of European natural fibre suppliers. In parallel, TECHTERA is in charge of the Dissemination and Exploitation work package.
